Description
Julio Jones made quite the name for himself during his three years at Alabama. In those years, Jones posted 179 receptions for 2,653 yards and 15 touchdowns. In 2008, he was the first true freshman to start as a wide receiver during the season opener for the Tide. After a standout career at Alabama, Jones was selected as the Atlanta Falcons' first pick of the 2011 NFL Draft. Jones recorded his first NFL touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts and finished the season leading all rookies in touchdown receptions with 8, while his 54 receptions for 959 yards ranked him second among rookies in each category.
