The Oregon Ducks sprinted their way to 11 regular season wins behind one of the nation’s most explosive offensive attacks, so it came as no surprise that they wasted no time getting on the scoreboard against Kansas State in the 2013 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.Speedy running back De’Anthony Thomas fielded the opening kickoff and darted 94 yards down the right sideline for a touchdown to give Oregon its first lead just 12 seconds into the game. From there, the Ducks would cruise to a 35-17 win over the Wildcats to secure their 12th win of the season in blowout fashion. After Thomas’ grand entrance set the tone for Oregon, Kenjon Barner proceeded to beat Kansas State for 143 yards on the ground to help the Ducks rack up 219 rushing yards as a team. Marcus Mariota threw for two scores on the day, one of which came on a 23-yard strike to Thomas in the first quarter and the other on a 24-yard connection to Barner just before the half. The Oregon defense turned in a strong performance as well, limiting Heisman finalist Colin Klein to just 151 yards through the air while forcing the senior quarterback into two interceptions. The Ducks outgained the Wildcats by over 100 yards on the game, and the combination of Oregon’s quick-strike offense and its stingy defense proved to be overwhelming for the Big 12 Champion Wildcats. The Official 2013 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl combo pack includes the commercial-free game broadcast on DVD and Blu-ray as well as the trophy presentation. It is a great addition to any fan's collection!
