Description
Urban Meyer’s reputation precedes him. After brief coaching stints at Bowling Green State University and the University of Utah, Meyer found his true home at The Swamp. With Meyer as their leader, the Florida Gators dominated the SEC and BCS football, never posting worse than an 8-5 record. Under Meyer, the Gators’ all-around record was 65-15 while their SEC record was 36-13. In addition to this, Meyer’s Gators won two BCS National Championships from the 2006 and 2008 seasons. Though Urban Meyer has retired from coaching football, he still remains a fervent supporter of UF and their Florida football program.
