Coaches vs. Cancer is a collaborative effort between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches to promote healthy eating and active living in the fight against all types of cancer. From January 27-29, 2012, nearly 1,000 basketball coaches across the United States will participate in the 9th annual Coaches vs. Cancer: Suits & Sneakers Awareness Weekend by trading in their usual fancy kicks to pair some laidback sneakers with their game time-suits in recognition and support of the American Cancer Society's mission to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Now you can do your part as a caring Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket to help your team support a great cause by sporting this Coaches vs. Cancer tee. Featuring “My Coach Can Beat Your Coach, But We All Can Beat Cancer” in team-colored lettering over the front with a 2012 Suits & Sneakers Weekend logo on the back, it’s designed to look just like the motivating shirts your Yellow Jackets are scheduled to wear during pre-game warm-ups and on the bench throughout Awareness Weekend. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this tee will be donated to Coaches vs. Cancer, so that they may continue to further their efforts.
